Shandon Street Housing

Restoration and renovation work has begun on Shandon street, where we are undertaking a project involving some of the few remaining Dutch gabled buildings in the city. The buildings are protected structures and denote architectural characteristics akin to their time of construction (1750’s.) Their centrally-placed gabled half-dormer and cross-plan roof are testament to the architectural style that was evident in the eighteenth century.

This project sees the existing derelict buildings converted into apartments with the addition of a contemporary extension to the rear.
