Extension at St James’ Place

A new double height glass box extension to the rear of a protected Georgian house. This extension delineates between the old and new parts of the house and brings more light into the living areas, allowing the house to function more comfortably as a contemporary family home. The existing house is in the process of being restored. The work to the original house follows the conservation philosophy of minimum intervention – doing as little as possible in order to make the house function as a family home

Location: Fermoy, Co. Cork

Status: Under Construction.
