House at Inch

One of Family home in Inch, Co. Cork

Status: Complete

A modern family dwelling design on lands which are part of the family farm.  The form of the building reflects and reinterprets the form and massing of vernacular rural Irish dwellings in their use of narrow plan form, simple forms and pitched slate roofs. The siting and form of the house is informed by passive solar design principles and responds to the location and orientation of the topography.
